Putting a Tax Refund to Good Use in Your Business
Last year, with the new tax software that I used for my business, I got a good tax refund and was thrilled! I was especially glad since I had needed to update my office space for a couple of years, but didn't have the funds to do any such projects. Finally being in a position to do some badly needed updating, thanks to my refund, the first thing I did was install new Empire carpet. This has made a great difference in the look of the office space and in our morale, as well! When looking at the samples that an Empire Today sales representative brought, I also got some tiles for the entryway, which makes cleaning up from foot traffic during rainy or snowy weather a much easier prospect. So it was entirely gratifying to have used that tax software and to have received a refund. Now that this is my second year, the idea of preparing my taxes isn't so daunting. I can just update plug in my data, check it over and be done! I'm not sure about a refund for this year, but if I do get one, I'm looking forward to putting it back into my business for another update or two.
